The Cannonball Bike Run is an experience that will change your life. It is a true adventure and one that you will long remember. The CBR is a unique blend of endurance and fun. The riding will be some of the best you have ever experienced. Each day the roads, the terrain and the challenge will be different.  But you can be sure that the route you will be riding will offer some of the emptiest roads you will have ever ridden and a scenery that can be mountains in the morning and desert in the afternoon; temperatures of 9 or 10 degrees to temperatures that are 30 plus. This will be an unforgettable experience and all the better as you will be sharing it with a group of kindred spirits.

The exact route for the CBR is secret. The actual route and final destination for each day will only be revealed at that morning’s checkpoint start. The route for each day has been pre-ridden and uses a combination of A and B roads with minimal motorway. The routes will all be provided on booklets using a simple to understand and easy to follow system with mileage checks throughout.

You will cover around 9 hours riding each day and distances  range around 300-350 miles per stage. This may not sound too tough but this will not be a London-Manchester blast up the M1! The roads are all tarmac with no off-roading required and you will be spending most of your time on the backroads of Morocco. The route will take in the superb riding country of the Rif and Atlas mountains where you will be climbing up to over 9,000 feet; across the wilderness of the Moroccan Plains reaching the very edge of the Sahara and along the stunning Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines. The total distance covered will be around 2,000 miles.
